The Ed. S. in Counselor Leadership is an advanced degree beyond a Master's degree. Although most of our applicants have master's degrees in counseling, school counseling, teaching, or related fields, we will consider applicants with varying degrees. See information about the Ed. To apply, you may complete a hard copy application or apply on-line through the Office of Graduate Studies. Note that you will be applying to the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis Ed. S. program (LEDS) with a concentration in Counselor Leadership (CLDR). We are always looking to offer new cohorts. Please contact us to see when our next cohort will begin!
We require an application, four letters of reference, professional resume’ and a written essay discussing professional goals and perceived relevance of the Ed. S. program to those goals. A personal interview is also required. It may also possible to start taking courses as a non-degree seeking student (some limitations apply).
