The faculty of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction prepares professional educators who are committed to innovation, communication and learning.

Undergraduate and graduate programs of the department are designed for students who seek to become enthusiastic practitioners, authentic role models and efficient managers of instruction, time, resources, and evaluation. Our students become teacher educators who are attuned to the needs of children and adolescents, understand the importance of motivation, facilitation and imagination in teaching effectiveness and accept the challenge to be responsible caring decision-makers and life-long learners.
