Disability Awareness
October

The Clemmer College of Education Diversity Committee is proud to represent and celebrate Disabilities
Awareness during the month of October. Throughout this month, the CCOE Diversity Committee acknowledges and promotes awareness of people with disabilities by educating faculty, staff, student body, and administration of ETSU by posting information such as art, books, and informative brochures in the main foyer of Warf-Pickel Hall in the Clemmer College of Education. The CCOE Diversity Committee wants to make aware resources that are offered on the ETSU campus, such as, the department of Disability Services located in the D.P. Culp Center. Websites are also useful for disabled individuals to use for finding information regarding laws against discrimination, resources for employment, and topics that might be of interest.
