East Tennessee State University (ETSU), in its continuing effort to maintain a safe academic and work environment for students, faculty and staff, is presenting the following information concerning campus safety and security.  This information is presented to the university community with the knowledge that individual awareness and adherence to university security policies and procedures is the best method to maintain a safe campus environment.

In compliance with the federal Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act and the Tennessee College and University Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2002, members of the campus community may obtain the most recent information received from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) concerning sex offenders employed, enrolled or volunteering at this institution at the ETSU Department of Public Safety. Information is also available on the TBI's Web site listing of sex offenders located on the Internet at:

http://www.ticic.state.tn.us/SEX_ofndr/search_short.asp.

The Department of Public Safety has been notified by TBI that the following individuals: Thomas Intardonato, Theodore J. Hicks, Neal Anthony Robinette, Betty S. McClain – Hensley associated with ETSU is listed on the TBI sex offender registry.

The information presented is designed to meet the guidelines of the College and University Security Information Act of 1989 and the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act of 1990.
