of Human Development and Learning seeks a full-time Clinical
Instructor to teach introduction to education classes and supervise
clinical field experience for undergraduate and graduate pre-service
students in teacher education and human services.
Qualifications:
Elementary and/or secondary certification and a master’s degree
or higher. At least four years of teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities: Teach, mentor, evaluate and assess
performance-based student instruction and field based work in a
variety of clinical field experiences; maintain student records and
collect data related to performance assessment; analyze and report
data semi-annually for departmental decision making; participate in
departmental, college and university professional activities. This
is a non-tenure track, three year appointment renewed annually
contingent upon funding. Preference will be given to candidates who
demonstrate knowledge of diversity, skills in addressing needs of
diverse groups and an appreciation of multiculturalism. East
