Marriage and Family Therapy

The Marriage and Family Therapy concentration is designed to prepare students to treat individual, couple, and family problems in such settings as human service agencies, mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, religious organizations, counseling agencies, substance abuse centers, and private practice. Students will receive training in utilizing a family systems approach for intervening in a wide variety of emotional and relational problems. The program is designed to provide all educational course work for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
