Any undergraduate student may minor in special education. A Special Education minor shows an employer that a student has an understanding of individuals of differing ability and evidence-based learning strategies that can benefit all students/clients. This minor is an excellent choice for students majoring in: 1) Early Childhood Education, 2) Elementary or secondary education, 3) Counseling, 4) Psychology, and 5) MANY, MANY OTHER MAJORS! Here is a copy of the 2013-2014 catalog requirements for this major. The student will enroll in courses under the direction of the undergraduate coordinator, Dr. Pamela Mims.
