Announcements
  • Senior Parents-  As a senior parent you will have some extra responsibilities this year.  As a part of the Graduation Week (last week of school), the senior parents traditionally arrange an overnight retreat, a senior picnic, the Baccalaureate service and Project Graduation (graduation night lock-in).  The school will donate a small amount of money toward these parent arranged festivities, but the burden of fundraising falls to the parents.  All of the above listed activities are optional, but have become a tradition usually embraced by the senior parents to give the graduates a great finish to high school.  There is no set system in place to organize parent involvement, but usually at least one parent will step forward to begin the process. I am happy to serve as advisor and facilitator for helping you organize Senior Week and to relay information to the seniors.  I encourage you to begin the conversation soon!  Ms. Shaw

  • Seniors- Your diplomas are being printed this week, and it is time to order cap/gown and invitations.  Mr. Eddie Brown will be at school in the US Library 12-12:30 on November 3 (study hall) to meet with you as a group regarding senior supplies available from Josten’s.  Order packets will be handed out at the meeting.  Mr. Brown will be back from 12-1 on November 12 in front of the cafeteria to pick up your order forms.  Please plan to attend if at all possible.  If you cannot be there, please arrange for another senior or a parent to pick up a packet for you

  • Volunteer Opportunity!  Lakebridge Health Care Center is in need of volunteers for our annual Halloween Extravaganza on Tuesday, October 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Trick or Treating will actually begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be throughout the building.  Volunteers are needed to help assist our Residents hand out candy and with helping children navigate through the hallways.  We will also be having games in the dining room and therapy gym and will need volunteers to help man the games.  Assistance with the refreshment area is also welcome. This is a fun event and we usually have 200+ children who visit.  Any and all volunteers are appreciated.  Also, if children 12 and under would like to have a safe place to trick or treat we welcome them to visit us that night.  A Halloween Costume Contest will be held as well. Thank you!  Teresa Strickland, Admissions Coordinator, Lakebridge Health Care Center, Phone:  (423) 975-0095, Email:

  • It is time to start thinking about the 2014/2015 Buccaneer!  We will be ordering yearbooks online; all yearbooks will be shipped to the school and be distributed from here.  Further, all yearbooks will include your child's name on the book.  The personalization is included in the price.

This year, the elementary/middle school yearbook will be $30.  This is a $2 increase over last year's price to cover the increased cost of production.  The high school yearbook will be $50.
