Location: Brooks Gymnasium (lower weight room)
Days: M, T, W, TH, F


Goals: To give students a better understanding of weight training and related issues and how to implement designs and strategies to allow them to reach their maximum potential.
 

Topics of Study:
- Safety in the weight room - Proper lifts and exercises
- Nutrition - Cardiovascular fitness
- Anatomy and physiology - Testing and measurements
 

Materials: Shorts/sweatpants and tennis shoes
 

Grading: Based on students accomplishing their set goals for the day (i.e. sets, reps, cardiovascular)
 

Scale:

A Excellent 93-100
B Good 85-92
C Average 75-84
D Poor 70-74
F Failing 69 and below
