Reported by Pierce

It all started when I got my roving reporter note on my desk.  That means I don’t have to do BFYB (breakfast for your brain) then we did the Pledge of Allegiance.  “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."  Then we had a moment of silence.  Then we checked BFYB, but I did not have to do it.
Next, we had ‘morning meeting’.  We played, “Ah”.  Next, we went to gym.  Hello, it’s math.  Math is next.  We had a problem---kind of like 5x3 and 4x5— too easy.  Finally, lunch.  I sat with Ben, Sterling, Alex, Sutton, Olivia, and Chloe.  Next, we had a ‘scavenger hunt’ in our new Tennessee books.  I then interviewed the new fourth grade teacher.  Let’s see what she has to say……………

Me:  What do you like about this school?
Teacher:  It is small like a family.
Me:  If you could change one thing about this school, what would it be?
Teacher:  School would start @ 8:50am.
Me:   If you could have another pet, what would it be?
Teacher:  A bird.
Me:  If you could have another ‘specials’ class, what would it be?
Teacher:  More music.

Then we had ‘guidance’.  Finally, recess. I interviewed Annie, Chandler, and Harper Ann.  Let’s see what they have to say…….

Me:  What do you like about this school?
Annie:  Gym---because it is active.
Chandler:  I like being at school with my brother.
Me:  What do you hate about this school?
Annie:  Homework.
Me:  Do you like school?
Annie :  Yes!
Harper Ann:  No, because you learn stuff.
Me:  What’s your best talent?
Chandler:  Everything!
Me:  What’s your favorite food?
Harper Ann:  Pizza!!!
