Reported by Victoria

This is Victoria’s Roving Report. J

When I came in the room I put my things away and saw that I was the Roving Reporter. I have a lot to tell about!

First we had a spelling test. It was easy! Next we went to gym and played Deck Tennis. We had a lot of fun! Then we had a math test. It was also easy!

One of our favorite parts was the International Lunch. Everyone brought in a food from their country. I brought in Italian cookies. Then we got on the boat a set off for America! Marlee and I were in First Class! Everyone else was in steerage. The Statue of Liberty was there to greet us! When we got to Ellis Island we did a lot of things to get into America. Some had to go to the hospital, some had to go to jail, but we all went to the Kissing Post.

After that, we had Guidance. We played a game that had to do with teamwork. It was kind of fun. Finally, our favorite part of the day…RECESS!!!! I played on the tire swing with Kacey, Hannah, and Marlee.

Last we had an afternoon meeting. It was Current Events day. You could bring an article from the news paper.

I interviewed some people and here is what they have to say,

Me: “How do you like 5th grade?”

Alexis: “I love it!”

Me: “What would you change?”

Hannah: “Math tests every 2 or 3 weeks.”

The day has ended and it was another great day in 5th grade!

Thanks for reading Victoria’s roving Report!  J
