History of Gray Fossil Site
Arial view of Gray Fossil Site in 2000 In May of 2004, they were about to make a highway near the city of Gray, Tennessee. When they got out there, they started digging. By the law of the state of Tennessee there must be an archeologist on the site of the place where they build stuff. So after they started digging they found a rhino bone. Thus, the Gray Fossil Site was born. and the highway wasn't. Later they found many, many more skeletons. The skeletons include a tapir, an alligator, a red panda, and lots of other cool bones. Enough bones to even open a museum. So they did. Right now there are lots of people working at the site. They are working hard to find fossils.
