        First, I came in and put my backpack and lunchbox away in the locker room. Next, we went skating in Brooks gym. When we came back, we had morning meeting. In morning meeting Katy was the director. We then talked about tests for this week like science test, social studies, and spelling test. Next, Elizabeth shared her current event article. Bekah was next and then Matthias. Then, Katy read the morning message. Next, was Writers Workshop, we wrote about the snow day yesterday.

Then came lunch. In lunch I sat with Emily, Sarah, Haley, and Carolee. Then, we studied for our spelling test and then had our spelling test. Mrs. Goehring said, “Your first bonus word is World War 1 and your second bonus word is Nucleus.” After that, was music. In music we sang, “The 100^th day of school.” Then, was social studies; we had a test about World War 1. Yeah! Recess was next. Then, was science; we had a science test about cells. Last, academic choice. (We thought) “Oh no,” someone said. It was the fire alarm. When we got back in we had more academic choice. Then we went home. That is another day of fifth grade.
