January 31, Wednesday, daily log

First I came in and started my BFOF [Breakfast for our brain.] Then we all got our coats on to go to Brooks Gym, to skate. We walked over and got our skates on, and started. First we warmed up and then we played capture the flag, on skates [it was hard !] We came back for morning meeting. We did a chain greeting. Then Carolee shared about hurting her arm yesterday, Matthias shared a joke, and Jakob shared about his brother getting sick. Then we talked about yesterday, and Sarah read her roving report. Then Mrs. Goehring said, " If you go back to your seat and get out your BFOB QUIETLY then you will get an E." Oh yea we got an E! We checked our BFOB. Yes! I got 100! Then we got out our math books. We worked on LCD [least common denominators] and LCM [least common multiples.] Finlay, time to go to lunch. I sat with Carolee, Elizabeth, Bekah, Emily, Amy, and Sarah. Carolee and I chatted. Time to go back to class. When we got back we got a C, yes! Then we got out our Writing Workshop journals. We read something of Amy's and something of Isaac's'. Oh no, time for our Wordly Wise test. I think that I did pretty good. Then we worked on our writing assessment practice. Next we had music. We talked about Blues music, and listened to some of Blues. Then we had recess. YES, we got 6 extra minutes for recess! I played with Carolee, we swung mostly. Then we came in and got out our ecosystem worksheets, and went over it. Then we watched an ecosystem movie. Did you know that soil, air, and water are nonliving things in an ecosystem? Then we took an ecosystem test. Finally time to go home.
