First we came in, put our back packs away and worked on Breakfast for Your Brain. Then Ms. Goehring talked to us about a boy who had been bullying her son, Cory, when he was in school. Next we went outside and planted a tree in honor of high school English teacher, Ms. Bevin's mother. Then Logan R., Brent, Scot, Jacob, and I went all over school searching for the plaque that went with the tree to give to Dr. Susu. After we found the plaque in her mailbox and gave it to her, we returned to class and continued checking BFYB.
Next we had Math. We are learning how to add integers in algebra. Then we had lunch. Today's lunch was pizza, tater tots, and milk. After lunch we went back to our classroom to begin Social Studies. We finished reading The Watsons go to Birmingham. We have all enjoyed reading this book.
Today’s lesson in library was a little different and very interesting. Ms. Jennifer taught us some Japanese. She has studied Japanese at ETSU for 4 years. She taught us words for teacher, mother, and our names. She made us each a bookmark with our Japanese names on them.
Then it was time for recess. I’m glad it hadn’t rained yet so that we could go outside. When we came in we went to the computer lab to finish typing our autobiographies. This has been a big project, but it has been fun too. Now it is time to pack up our back packs and go home. It has been a full day!
