Hello my fine fifth graders. Mrs. Goehring, here! It sounds like you had a great day yesterday. Annie, thank you for emailing your roving report. We are all enjoying Washington D.C. We visited Chinatown and had a great dinner. We were interested in going to the Spy Museum, but it was getting late on a school night, so we came back to our hotel. Today, after our workshop, we are going to the Smithsonian Museums. I especially want to see the Museum of Natural History and a special exhibit called, "The Scoop on Dirt."

Have a wonderful day and please help our guest teacher. Also, please check on Mr. Bubbles and Kokimo. See you tomorrow.

Mrs. Goehring

Today in fifth grade we have a substitute teacher. Her name is Ms. Bartee.

Well this is how the day went….

The class started with B.F.Y.B. (Breakfast for your brain.) The good thing was that I didn’t have to do B.F.Y.B because I am the Roving Reporter. Next was Morning Meeting. We greeted with a “Ball Greeting”. I greeted Chandler. Finally it was GYM! In GYM we played “Slap ball and Deck Tennis”. YES! Now it is time for MATH. In math we did a review pre-test of what we have learned in the past few weeks. After the pre-test we had a QUIZ. The review and the quiz were very easy. Next at lunch I sat with Hannah, Chandler, Kacey, Victoria, Alexis, and Katie. Dang it lunch is over. So we have to do Geography. In geography we had to read some pages in our Tennessee History book. Finally it is towards the end of the day. But oh no it is time for music! In music we sung some songs and it was actually kind of fun. YES! Now it is time for RECESS! At recess I played soccer. But while I was kicking the ball backwards I twisted my ankle. So Chandler and I went to the cafeteria to get some ice. Then I hoped up to the classroom and we did Science. In science we watched a movie then did a pre-test about the Earth’s Layers. Finally it is the end of the day!

And that was another great day in fifth grade!
