When our day started the halls were empty. The vacant echo roared through out the building. It was a two hour delay. So gym and math are cancelled. Sorry math and gym fans.

Due to the delay, we started with computer lab. Mrs. Goehring had a magazine full of pictures from world war. It was called, Life goes to War a Picture History of World War II. We had to work on our attic box projects. Some were focused on the worksheet as others started on our projects and yet others played games because they were done.

Following that it was Lunch. Olivia boringly said “Yeah lunch.”  In the last 15 minutes we had to be quiet because Dr. Edwards came in and lectured us about respect. Following lunch was language arts. We read our Number the Stars books. We had to write a letter in code. The pig is in the barrel. After that we listened to a letter from a man who survived a concentration camp. In 10 months he went from 242 pounds to 72 pounds. That's 170 pounds!

Then it was recess. Some kids played dradels. When ever anyone got a “gimmel” we yelled HOYA. Then in science we had a PowerPoint about Endangered species. I liked it. Finally we had academic choice. We listened to the tenth chapter of Number the Stars. Brooklyn won the quiet seat winner.
