Happy Valentine’s Day
world! I first came in dressed up in red and pink and ready to start the day.
“Aww, man,” I said as I saw the Roving Reporter Report on my desk. Our
substitute was Ms. Green. She was very nice. We got to have her all day. We all
turned to page 101 in our Skills Book. Man, time flies by when you’re having
fun. It was time for Health. In Health we watched a movie and made hands for
people that have or died of heart disease. Did you know that heart disease is
the number one killer in America? Next was morning meeting. Haley was our
director. We started with a Pig Latin greeting. Isaac shared about going to
Noah’s house with Logan. After that, we did On This Day. Haley picked an article
about the Spiderwick Chronicles. Then we headed back to our seats and started
checking on BFYB. We played Heads Up Seven UP since we had time left. Then we
did Math in our textbooks. Finally, lunch! I had delicious turkey on rolls.
After lunch we talked about schools in the Great Depression. It was very sad. So
many children could not afford to go to school. Next we went to the Library and
played games Then it was time for Recess. I swung on the swings with Haley. When
Recess was over, we went back to the room and did Fraction Jeopardy. After that
we celebrated Valentine’s Day by giving out Valentines and eating yummy foods
that would make your mouth water. Chocolate-covered pretzels and strawberries.
Finally the bell rang, and it was time to go home.
Happy Valentines Day!
