Today we started out with the morning announcements as usual. Then we waited for Mrs. Cradic to come and do health class. She was late again. We talked about the winter Olympics before we started class. Then we had to wait even longer because we had the kindergarten movie instead. Jackson said, “That was the scariest movie I have ever seen in my life!” Then Jaelan said, “ I’m going to have night mares tonight!” Then we got the right movie. It was about the heart.
The following subject was morning meeting. We worked in our Number the Stars folders for about ten minutes.
Dreaded math was next. We had a very big math test. The test was easy for most people, but that’s what they thought. We got our math tests back at the end of the day. If we were done we had to do a crossword puzzle on either Maryland or Tennessee. Mrs. Martin said, “I was born in Maryland.”
Social studies was next. We learned about WW II. We read about the Axis and Allied powers, Adolf Hitler, and Pearl Harbor in our Social Studies books.
Lunch was next. We told jokes to the class.
Then we were sent to the library. We did a worksheet on syllables. We were given a challenge to try to put supercalafrajulisticxpialadocious into syllables.
Then we worked on our Number the Stars folders again for grammar.
After that was everyone's favorite time of the day. Recess!!!!! We had indoor recess.
Science was next. We had a test on ecology. Ethan said, “Yay!!!! Science!!!” Olivia said, “ I don’t like science that much.”
Then we reviewed our math tests because some people mistakenly thought the test was too easy.
Nobody won the quiet seat today.
