First I came in and put my stuff away. Then I started with my BFOB. Then we went to gym. In gym, we did something like morning fitness that we will do next year. I played basketball with some of the guys. After that we came back and started our morning meeting. We did a British greeting. Then Bekah shared. I shared about traveling to Nashville this past weekend to see “My Fair Lady” at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.  Then Emma read the morning message.  We went back to our seats and finished working on BFOB.  It will be taken up for a grade.

Our next lesson is in Math.  We are learning about stem and –leaf plots.  This is a way of ordering data in a chart.  It is kind of strange.  We were asked about how much candy we ate.  Jakob said, “I ate 10,000,000,000,000 pieces!”  But I hope he was just joking.  Ms. Goehring said it had to be less than 100 pieces

It is lunch time.  I ate pizza and tater tots.

After lunch, we returned to class and began reading A Soldier’s Heart and a Civil War article that was found in The Press.  After reading we need to write in our journals.  Logan R. is telling about Joe Lyle’s home that is for sale.  We are talking about the similarities and differences between Joe and Charley in the book.  We have had a very powerful discussion about chapter 5.

We are going to the Library.  I wonder what we will do.  Now we are going outside.  We have finally earned the right to play football and I’m going to play!  Back inside, we go over our Science and do Academic Choice.  Finally it is time for home, sweet home.
