Reported by Mrs. Goehring

Chloe was absent today, so I chose to be the roving reporter for today. Chloe, we hope that you are feeling better! :-)  This morning for our Breakfast for Our Brain, we reviewed quotation marks and punctuation. It was a quiz that will go in the grade book. Then, we had our morning meeting. Sterling was the director. He chose a ball greeting.

After morning meeting, we went to active health. When we returned, we did a timed division on our basic facts. Everyone is improving rapidly in knowing the basic division facts. Math was my favorite subject, money! We learned how to divide money into equal parts.

Then, it was time for lunch. For lunch I ate yogurt, dried cranberries, and pretzels. When we returned to the classroom, we played Bill of Rights Jeopardy. Soon, it was time for Art, where we drew in one lined perspective. The drawings looked 'cool'.

We reviewed the Bill of Rights, then scurried out to recess. It was a beautiful, warm day. After recess, we went to the middle school computer lab to work on the Three Branches of Government.

Our day ended quickly. It was another wonderful day in fifth grade. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. :-)
