Reported by Emma
I started my day by waking up, then eating my breakfast. I got in the car and went to school. On the way to school, I was singing in my head, "Our Song" by: Taylor Swift. I walked upstairs with Logan T. and arrived in the classroom. I sat in my chair and Mrs. Goehring handed me the roving report.
Now we’re going to gym. In gym we played a game called cell tag. Isaac fell during the game and later on he went home because of it. We walked back up the stairs into the classroom, and our substitute (Mrs. Diddle) was going to be the sub for the rest of the day.
Now it’s time for morning meeting. Amy was our morning meeting director. We greeted with a new greeting called the waka-waka greeting. Now it’s time for sharing. Amy called on Jakob to share first. Jakob shared about loosing his tooth and he got $10 for it. Alex shared next about being absent yesterday because of strep.
Beep, beep, beep! The fire alarm went off! We all were aware of the alarm so we ran outside. It was a test which we do every month. When the fire alarm stopped, we all went back inside, and continued with morning meeting. Amy read the message. Did you know today is the anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase? Next we checked B.F.Y.B.
Now it’s everybody’s most favorite part of the day…. math. Woo-Hoo. In math, we talked about percentages. Shortly after that was lunch. I ate chicken nuggets, an apple, and fries.
After that was social studies. In social studies we read the book, "The Watsons Go to Birmingham- 1963." It’s a really good book. Next was music. It was fun. Then it was our real favorite part of the day, RECESS! In recess Kate and I were playing a game call mimic me. It’s where you copy everything that person does. It’s fun and it makes me and Kate laugh. We went inside after recess.
Next me, Kate, and Maddy went to the computer lab and started on chapter 4 of our autobiographies. I had to re-type chapter 3 again because I didn’t save it right. Now it’s time to go home… later! =]
