First we had announcements like always. Then we had gym. In gym we did jump for heart. Paul went the longest with 1 hour and 40 minuets. Jaelan jumped for 26:24. After gym we had morning meeting. In morning meeting Mrs. Martin read her favorite book called Swamp Angel. While she read we had to write down any similes, metaphors or hyperboles we heard.

After that we had sharing. Claire shared her poem she got from gymnastics. Then Kevin shared that how he was sick and that he’s going to go to a soccer game. Afterwards, we had math. At that moment Jaelan said “yum a ruler.” He was pretending he was licking the ruler. Then Jackson said “math is NOT fun”

After measuring coins, we worked in are math books. Now its time for your wordly wise test. But first here's BIG Jonathon with the poem he made up from our worldy wise words. Now its time for your worldy wise test. We worked until lunch. When we finished and it still was not lunch time we had to work on our social studies.

Finally lunch, the 2nd best part of the day. After lunch some of the kids went to the library and some stayed in class. MUSIC TIME. We had a substitute teacher because Mrs. Strom was sick. We watched a movie where people hit trash cans together. Now we had writing to do. We had to pretend that we where back in the pioneer days and write a tall tale about a super hero.

We made it! It's recess time, the Number 1 best thing to do. Before we went outside we had to sit down because we were talking in line. We came back inside 5 minutes before the time we really had to come in because we were colder than snow. We got to play inside for the rest of the 5 minutes. Next we had science. In science we learned more about the food web and the food chain.

Mrs. Goehring said “class why are you all talking. I see only one hand raised, please stop.” and Ashley said “Dom Dom Doooom” After that we went back working on our science sheets. Jonathan’s name was drawn for the quiet seat winner and he wasn’t at school. Good thing Mrs. Goehring didn’t forget him.

It is now the end of the day and everyone shot out the door like a pack of coyotes. Mrs. Goehring called them all back into the classroom and then she sat them down till they were called to leave. That’s are day at University School
