Reported by Jakob

First, we came in and put our backpacks away.  Next, we sat down and did breakfast for the brain.  Then we had health.  We talked about fat and it was gross.  Then we had morning meeting.  It was fun because I got to share about the book I am reading ("The Capture").  Then we added decimals in math.   And  FINALLY it was lunch time!  I had pizza and cheese crackers, YUM.
After lunch, we did language arts.  Ms. Hazelwood said, "Get out your Letters from Rifka" journals and then we wrote our journal entries.   My entry talks about the time right before we leave for America.  The work that we did not finish for our immigration packets and letter from Rifka journal became new homework, and we already have enough homework. Then we went to library.  I checked out a dangerous sea animal book.  It is pretty cool so far.
Then it was time for recess.  It was fun.  I played a game called lily pad.  It is a hand slapping game.  After recess, we had academic choice.   We had time to work on our immigration packets as much as possible, so we wouldn't have to do it for homework.  I worked as hard and fast as I could, but I still had to take it home for homework.  Then we packed up our stuff and it was time to go home!  I am excited to get home because me and my dad are going to cook up a storm!

P.S.  We really missed you today.
