Fifth Grade Hosts the Senior Tea
On
Friday, May 2, 2008 the fifth grade class of University School hosted the Senior
Tea.
First, the seniors that attended University School in fifth grade were
introduced. There were
twelve seniors that attended fifth grade at our school.
After
they were introduced, then they opened their packets that they made in fifth
grade.
It was surprising to see what they included in their packets. One senior
collected pencils to put
in his packet. Many had pictures and other funny memories that they
stored in their packets
for seven years.
Then,
the fifth graders had several questions that they asked about the seniors'
memories in fifth
grade. We learned that one of the students etched his name in a
desk (It's still there!) and got
in trouble by Mrs. Knight. :-)
Finally, we served delicious food for the seniors and the fifth graders who
hosted the party.
We all enjoyed the activities.
