Ms. Kelli and Dr. Susu held the first composting exploratory on August 28th, 2007.

        They began by introducing each other.

        Then, they watched a video clip about taking care of the Earth and why it is important.

 Then, they looked at some trash in their trash cans at school and talked about the amount of  time it takes for each of these things to decompose.

 Then, they went outside and looked at a pile of leaves that had been composting naturally for four months and looked at some rotting logs and dug into them to see what natural decomposers they could find inside.
