In August, 2007, our composting exploratory took a field trip to Jonesborough to visit Curtis Buchanon and his beautiful garden. He composts to make the soil rich and fertile.

Mr. Buchanon takes us on a tour of his garden.

He shows us what he puts in his compost pile and how he turns it with a pitch fork to keep it mixed well.
