Conclusion

The American people were divided between supporting their King and forming a new government. The reason they decided to form their own government was because England was taxing the colonies in order to pay for war debts. The Colonies didn’t think this was far and the England didn’t think the Colonist’s had any right to oppose their decisions. The inability to agree eventually caused England and the early colonies to go to war.
