Introduction
At this website you will learn about some battles in the Civil War. The Civil War started April 12th, 1861. The four battles you will be learning about are:
Battle of Bull Run (1st)- July 21, 1861
Battle of Shiloh-April 6-7, 1862
Battle of Antietam- September 17, 1862
Battle of Gettysburg- July 1-3, 1863
Task
Your task is to research the battles above and to answer the 20 questions about those battles. You must write in sentence form. You must answer all questions in one to two sentences. This is a process that may take some time so do it carefully. Take the time to visit the helpful links. Those links may show you some of the answers, but you should write everything in your own words. Keep your answers simple and to the point. Your answers will be looked over and then graded accordingly. Hopefully this activity will help you learn and understand more about some of the major battles of the Civil War.

Conclusion
Hopefully, through this web quest, you have learned some historical information about the Civil War. President Lincoln lead our country through these battles so African Americans would no longer have to be slaves. When the Civil War ended slavery was abolished, but some Caucasians still thought African Americans were not equal. President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated immediately after the Civil War ended.
