Come Check Out
the Library!
Library
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30PM and Friday 7:30-2:30PM

Check out the new collection of fiction and
nonfiction books. We have received over 150 books in the last few
weeks. We have something for everyone.
The library is full after school with students
working and being tutored. Students must be actively involved with
school work: homework, tutoring, research to be in the library after
school. The library closes at 3:30. Students may not be in the library
after that time. Please be sure that students have arrangements to be
picked up at that time.
The library web site has links to the Tennessee
Electronic Library for the students to use. There are a number of
online databases and research tools that students can use.
Parents: Students are not allowed to be on
social sites such as MySpace or Facebook during the school hours. The
school computers are to be used for school assignments and research.
Students can enter the library at 7:30 a.m. when one of the supervising
teachers is on duty.
Our new library lab is ready. We have
25 computers that teachers may use on a scheduled basis. Please
check us out.
Remember: 11 and 12 Grade Students may
check out books from Sherrod Library. All fines and
replacement costs charged to university students also apply to
University School students. Outstanding fines must be paid before you can receive your report card or other records. Overdue
notices are sent through the mail. Fines do accumulate and are not
"forgiven." Please remember that using Sherrod is a privilege that
you have as a University School student. Do not abuse this
privilege.
