Title: Oral Verbalization Skill Building

Action Research:
This is a continuation of the action research project from last year. An
understanding of both the students and the subject matter will be used
to create a learning environment that encourages active engagement in
learning, positive intellectual interactions and student ownership of
the learning.
Action Research Goals:
To enrich the student’s oral communication skills through the
verbalization Of their learning process as measured by pre and post
assessment.
Question:
Would a virtual classroom learning environment encourage enough active
intellectual interactions to result in enriched verbalization skills for
kindergarten students?
Subjects:
Language Arts: Oral language, comprehension, and use of Standard English
Language conventions.
Procedures:
1. Collaboration with COE colleagues teaching early childhood education
courses. There will be virtual visits between the college students and
the kindergarten students. The kindergarten students will verbalize
their learning to the college students.
2. Pre and Post tests will be administered to the kindergarten students
to measure their verbalization skills.
