Early American StoriesEach of the "Famous Moments" series on this site highlights a true story of historical significance, providing students of early American history with a better understanding of the people, places and events of this important era.  Each story is told using scenes and portraits, many of which are primary source documents that date back to the early to mid 1800's.  You will need a 56K modem for most of these, but some require a high-speed connection.  Check out the other interesting links on this page.

The Colonial Kids:  This is a great website made by kids.  Check it out.  Includes music of the period.

Colonial Williamsburg This is an amazing site.  It's a virtual tour of the Town of Williamsburg.  Students can see the buildings, learn about trades, see colonial clothing of children and adults, and follow a day in the life of a family living in Williamsburg.
