Zephaniah is the precocious brother. Reading before he was three, his intellectual curiosity is staggering for a six-year-old. When he isn't reading or having "computer time," he is playing "Cars," "Toy Story," or "Thomas the Tank Engine" with Zeke, who doesn't always want to play by the rules Zeph mandates. As a result, Zeph is learning the art of conflict resolution at an early age, although he has not mastered it.

The picture below depicts his first oil change with Daddy. I thing the oil on the face was good for him, considering his non-physical personality! Click the link below the picture to hear him sing the first verse of "Modern Major General" some time ago. (I think he had just turned four.)
