pictureCongratulations to Ms. Jill Janaitis, recipient of the University School Teacher of the Year Faculty Award , presented at the Clemmer College of Education Awards Ceremony, held on Wednesday, April 16th, 2014, at the Carnegie Hotel.

 pictureCongratulations to Ms. Mary Myron, University School Kindergarten Instructor, for authoring a Blog Article on the National Science Teacher's Association Website!!  The article, "Kindergarten teacher shares her class' bird investigation" was published on January 23rd, 2014, on the NAEYC Early Childhood Science Interest Forum Blog.  Proud of our instructors who share their expertise with other Early Childhood Educators!

University School receives "Award for Performance" , designated among the top 5 percent of schools in Tennessee for overall achievement!!!  Out of five possible levels denoting each school's effectiveness in three areas of instruction, University School received perfect scores in literacy, math and overall, meaning the students made outstanding gains on the TCAP tests.  Click here to read news articles
