pictureHoops for Heart / Jump Rope for Heart:  We are so proud of our elementary and middle school students!  They have shown true thoughtfulness for others by raising over $12,000.00 for the American Heart Associatio!  They took the challenge to help others by raising money but also they worked hard at improving their health by jumping rope and playing basketball.  They truly deserve a big shout out!  Jump for Heart  (elementary grades), will be held on Friday, March 7th.  View photos for Hoops for Heart  (middle grades).  Proud of our Caring Bucs!

pictureCongratulations to all participants and winners in the University School Grade 3-8 Spelling Bee.  The winner was Pablo with Amy placing 2nd.  Pablo will compete in February at the Sullins Academy Regional Spelling Bee.  The other participants were: 3rd Abigail, 4th  Sam, 5th Parker, 6th Laurie, 7th Emily, 7th  Jolina, 8th Pablo, and 8th  Amy.  Proud of our S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G   B-U-C-s!!!!!!

iconCongratulations to Cassie Brooks, David Fagerburg, Ally Powell, Katie Powell and Reilly Williams.  They sang in the East Tennessee Vocal Association All East Choral Festival. 




pictureSpecial congratulations to Ally and Katie.  They received awards as the highest score on their auditions for their voice part.  Katie is the best Soprano I and Ally is the best Alto II in all of East Tennessee including Chattanooga and Knoxville!  So proud of our Musical Bucs!

pictureCassie, a University School Junior, has been selected to the 2013 All Nation Honors Chorus!  After an extensive audition process, she is one of only ten high school students from Tennessee to be selected!  The All Nation Honors Chorus is sponsored by The National Association for Music Education.  The Honors Chorus will sing for The National Association For Music Education National Convention at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville on Wednesday morning, October 30, 2013.  Proud of our musical Bucs!!!!
