  • The Theatre Arts class trip, scheduled for 1st period on Friday, November 20th, has been re-scheduled for 1st period on Monday, November 23rd, due to transportation problems

  • Teachers and parents of University School:  Please help support our school by becoming a member of Box Tops for Education.  Simply visit www.boxtops4education.com and click on the box at the bottom that says "get a new member bonus".  Then click "Join" and use our schools zip code "37614" to finish your membership.  By doing this you will help our school earn money that will be distributed to the teachers to use in their classrooms.  Also, please clip and send in box tops to your teachers.  Thank you for your support!



  • The All East Chorus festival will begin on Friday, November 20th. Several of our students have earned the honor of representing University School at the East Tennessee Vocal Association Choral Festival.  You are invited to the Festival concert at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21st, at the NPAC in Greeneville (TN). The Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) is located adjacent to Greeneville High School.  Good luck to our Musical Bucs!!

  • University School's DEFINITELY got Talent!!!  Congratulations to the following winners of Friday night’s show:

    Best Broadway: Abby and Hannah Stansberry
    Most Spirited: Savannah Wexler, Taylor Treadway, Bell Bright, and                  Hannah Sherlin for Middle School Girls Basketball
    Best Classical Solo: Anne Gao
    Most Terrific Tumbling: Jillian and Kaylen Hill
    Dynamic Dancers: Laney and Macey Falin
    Best Acoustic and Vocal: John Crowe and Wes Fleenor

    Art Show winners were:
         High School 1st place - Bailey Rosenbusch
                            2nd place - Caitlin Walker
                            3rd place - (Tie) Carter McVeigh, Levi Smith
         Middle School - 1st place - Cara Lee Mabe
                                 2nd place - Logan Metcalf

    ALL winners need to come to the office and write your t-shirt size by your name on the Winner List.  Special thanks to Dr. Borden and Ms. Ross for directing the show!


  • Parents: The proofs were returned on Wednesday, November 11th,  to students who had pictures retaken or made up during October.  The deadline for ordering pictures will be November 23rd.  After this date, there will be a $10 late fee.  Please return any orders to your child’s teacher


  • 9808 pounds!!!!!  (Elementary brought in 227.5 pounds, Middle School brought in 2198.5 pounds, and the High School brought in 2548.0 pounds)!!!

    We would like to extend a big 'Thank You' to all who contributed to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank Food Drive.  We also want to send a  HUGE 'Thank You' to Mr. Mike Roberts and Ms. Madeline Hunt for all their work in organizing, packaging, and delivering all the food.  These two spent an enormous amount of personal time making the drive a success. 

    In the high school competition, there was a tie between Juniors and Seniors.  The Middle School Class Winner is Ms. Gregg's Home Room.  Congratulations!!! 
     

  • Registration for Breaks Alive Winter Intersession programming is officially open.  Please submit all registration forms as soon as possible
