Haley
nominated
Ms.
Horton
for the
award.
NOMINATION FORM:
This letter of endorsement is being submitted with utmost respect for Middle school 6th/8th grade educator, Amy Horton. I would like to nominate Amy for educator of the week award. As a student, I have experienced perfection in the leadership abilities of Amy Horton.
Her nurturing skills have given each student an opportunity to initiate positive change in themselves as well as others. Her hard work of receiving extended degrees and certificates has placed her far above the realm of requirements or expectations.
The students of University School are fortunate to have an educator that is a prime example for our young scholars. Not only does Amy communicate by talking the talk, she is willing to walk the walk. Amy's unselfish leadership style is a direct reflection of her love for each individual student. Her continuous effort is highly commended as she strives to motivate each student to set high goals and work hard to accomplish them. I personally would like to thank Ms. Horton for making a difference in my life. She is one in a million.
Not, only is she an educator. She has formerly coached the the UH girls Basketball team. She set forth to teach leadership abilities on and off the court. That's why I believe she has impacted our community.
The girls that have gone to the next level whether as a student or a student athlete have experienced the strong values of life, high standards in morals and strong discipline for the commitment for a continued education.
