SPRING PLANT SALE

The Spring Plant Sale was a huge success.  Sales netted the Foundation approximately $3,500.00!!  Moving to the new location in the ETSU parking lot across from McDonalds brought in dozens of new customers.  A big THANK YOU goes to Morgan Woodacre for obtaining our plants and helping us throughout the sale.  We also appreciate our workers:  Chris Holland, Jana Webb, Kathy Higginbotham, Dr. Hal Knight, Melanie Charade and Nora Lee.  Thank you to our suppliers, Appalachian Gardens and Indian Creek Greenhouse.  We appreciate Appalachian Gardens continuing the fundraising for the Foundation for the week following the sale.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The Inaugural Best Western Golf Classic benefiting University School is scheduled for June 9, 2008 at the Ridges Golf and Country Club.  The “Lads versus Lassies” format pits the men against the women in a unique and fun tournament.  Put your team together (registration forms) and help us make this the most successful fundraiser ever!   For information, please call Sharon Bradshaw @ 439-4333 or bradshaw@mail.etsu.edu.
