About the Conference:Establishing a Practice-Based Research Network (PBRN), called AppNet, in the region has been the next step toward preparing primary care providers to improve quality of care by implementing a QI process within their practices. The project fits well with the long-term focus of rural primary care providers in meeting the needs of the medically underserved, and is supported as well by curricular components and community-based learning experiences for students and residents that are already in place.
