About the Conference: This is a multi-day primary care conference including lectures from specialists in current trends in the identification and management of chronic illness, prevention, current treatment modalities, pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical management. Educational material will include topics covering the entire patient life-span, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Target Audience: Primary Care Physicians from all specialties, Surgeons, Emergency Medicine, Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Primary Care Residents, Nurses, Health Care Students, Interdisciplinary Health Care Teams including Allied Health and other health care providers who desire to update their knowledge of the primary care field.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Carnegie Hotel, 126 W. State of Franklin Rd., Johnson City, TN, located adjacent to The Millennium Centre and across from East Tennessee State University. A large conference syllabus is an item relegated to the past. Historically, it has added significantly to registration costs for conference participants, and since technology has afforded new and sometimes paperless ways to achieve the same results, we're going with technology!

Your conference handouts will be posted on CME's website during the two weeks preceding the conference. To access the handouts, just follow this link: Presentations

Here are 4 Easy Ways to Obtain Handouts for This Conference:

  1. Go to the website above in advance of the conference and download handouts onto your computer. Bring your computer with you to the conference.
  2. Go to the website in advance of the conference and download and print handouts. Most handouts will be available in either black and white, three to a page, as well as full page, full color. You choose.
  3. On the day of the conference you can access handouts with your laptop or electronic device via Millennium Centre's free WiFi.
  4. You can contact the CME office (either by responding to this email or by calling 439-8027) to request a printed black and white full copy, which you can pick up the morning of the conference. Cost is $40.00; pay by check or credit card at the door. Order MUST be placed no later than Wednesday, March 13.

The grievance will be reviewed and a response will be returned within 45 days of receiving the written statement. If not satisfied, an appeal to the Dean of the College of Pharmacy can be made for a second level of review.
