About this Conference:
A multi-day conference including lectures, skits, and workshops on current trends in management of chronic illness, prevention, current treatment modalities, pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical management. Topics cover the entire patient life-span from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Overall Conference Objectives:
As a result of attending this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe new health care approaches that affect patient cost, quality of care, and patient safety.

  • Discuss the preceptor’s, faculty, and student role in interprofessional education.

  • Strategize methods of open communication between the preceptor, faculty, and student.

  • Integrate evidence based health care delivery mechanisms to promote quality outcomes across the continuum of care.

  • Implement methods to incorporate interprofessional education into practice using a variety of approaches from multiple health care disciplines.

Registration fees will be refunded, less a $50.00 administrative fee, for cancellations received in writing a minimum of 14 days prior to the activity date. No refunds will be given when the registration fee is $50.00 or less, or when a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the start of the activity.
