Meets VA and TN Prescribing Practices Requirement
About this Conference: | Opioid overdose epidemic is well documented nationally and regionally. The Centers for Disease Control attribute poor prescribing by healthcare providers to be a key problem that needs to be addressed. Healthcare providers receive little education on management of pain or addiction in professional didactic or residency training. There is a need for this education to help improve learning deficits and to promote safer opioid prescribing. | ||||||||||||||||||||
