STUDENT PROMOTIONS COMMITTEE
CHARGE
The Student Promotions Committee is to review on a continuing basis the total performance of each individual student, including all cognitive and non-cognitive evaluations which have been submitted. The committee will meet and review progress of students each mid-semester, at the end of each semester, and prior to commencement.
STRUCTURE
The Student Promotions Committee is appointed by the Executive Associate Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs. Committee members shall be the chair or his/her designee from each department within the College of Medicine and the director or his/her designee from the faculty of each course not conducted by a department. The Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Registrar, and directors of medical education shall be invited as ex officio members without vote. There will be one student appointed by each class to the committee. Student members will be without vote.
