Registrations are currently being accepted for the Sixth Annual Primary Care and Prevention Research Day, an event hosted by the Department of Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine.
The conference, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, provides a forum for health professionals in academic institutions, teaching hospitals, and practice sites to present and learn from other research, interventions, and programs intended to improve the health and address disparities within the Southern Appalachian region.
An estimated 25 papers and posters will be presented by ETSU faculty and students and representatives from other institutions in the region on various primary care topics. The conference is open to physicians, nurse practitioners, public health professionals, nurses, resident physicians, health professions students, and others with an interest in primary care, prevention issues, and research.
There is no registration fee to attend the conference.
