Office Hours and Appointments
Office Hours
Our office is open 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except
holidays.
Appointments
Office visits are by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call our office auto attendant at (423) 245-9600 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
If you or other members of your family become ill, we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible. It is important that you call before coming to the office. If it is necessary for you to be seen by a doctor, this will help you be seen more efficiently. If you are unable to keep an appointment for any reason, please call us to cancel as soon as possible so that other patients who need to be seen can be scheduled at that time.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts, medical emergencies may make it necessary to delay or reschedule your office visit. If rescheduling is unavoidable, a new appointment will be offered at the earliest convenience.
Emergencies and After-Hour Service
We provide 24-hour medical care, seven days a week for our patients. If any emergency arises Monday through Friday during our office hours, please call (423) 245-9600 and we will advise you of the best course of action. We may be able to take care of your emergency in our office. On weekends, evenings and holidays, you may still call (423) 245-9600 and our answering services will relay your message to one of our physicians who will return your call as soon as possible. Please remember to telephone our offices before going to the emergency room. If you believe you have a serious or life-threatening emergency, you may wish to proceed directly to the nearest emergency room, and ask them to contact your doctor.
Prescriptions
Our automated answering system has an option for those seeking to refill a prescription. In order for us to process your request you must leave all the requested information. Prescription refills will be telephoned to your pharmacy within 48 hours of receiving the request. Some medications (such as pain medication, tranquilizers, etc.) will not be refilled by telephone. Our doctors do not write prescriptions for narcotic pain pills & tranquilizers (such as Lortab, Oxycontin, Xanax, or Soma) for new patients. It will save you time if you request that your doctor provide your prescription refills during your office visit.
