Charges and Payments
Charges for office visits are determined by the complexity and severity of the problem or by the time spent with you. Your doctor and our front office staff will be happy to discuss fees with you.
We request that you pay that portion of your bill for which you are responsible at the time of each visit. This helps us to keep our charges as low as possible. You may pay by cash, check, or MasterCard/VISA.
Check your statement carefully when you receive it. The more promptly you advise us of an error, the more promptly we can correct it.
Each time you visit our office, please bring ALL health insurance information with you. You must provide a copy of your TennCare, Medicaid, Medicare and/or private insurance cards to process your claim. We currently file TennCare, Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance claims. There may be certain services which your insurance does not cover, such as deductible, copayment or uncovered services. The patient is responsible for any services which are not covered, as well as the deductible and/or copayment amounts. Our office staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have or to provide assistance in filing your insurance.
Managed Care Referrals
We accept a variety of managed care plans. Please let us know if you participate in a managed care plan. Managed care plans do not approve self-referrals or approval of referrals after the fact. You must contact our office and obtain approval from your primary care physician before seeing a specialist.
