The project goal is to enhance the effectiveness of training in
primary care at the residency level by designing a formal
Evidence-Based Quality Improvement Curriculum. The new curriculum
will provide family medicine residents with clinical and didactic
experiences to prepare them to utilize the QI process in their
medical practices.
Professor of Family Medicine and Director of Primary Care Research
Fred Tudiver,
M.D., serves as Principal Investigator for this project. Dr.
Tudiver also serves as Director of the International Center for
Evidence-Based Medicine, which provides training for healthcare
providers and educators.
