Dr. Garrett is a native of Danville, Virginia and graduate of East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. He came to Family Medicine by way of a residency and practice in General Surgery and then a Family Medicine residency at Family Medicine Associates. Dr. Garrett's wife Linda is a Nurse Practitioner and has a faculty appointment at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Garrett has two stepsons, Dustin and Benjamin.
