Welcome to our AOA accredited Family Medicine Residency Program web site for program  #189045 UP-KYCOM/ETSU Quillen College of Medicine.  We are unique in that our program is integrated with our three ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Programs. We have individual dually accredited programs in Bristol, Johnson City and Kingsport, Tennessee. Our focus is on producing comprehensive, community-focused, patient-centered, and compassionate family physicians.

We are sponsored by the University of Pikeville -Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and affiliated with the Appalachian Osteopathic Postgraduate Training Institute Consortium, Inc. (A-OPTIC).  As  the Director of Osteopathic Medical Education and the Program Director for our AOA Family Medicine Residency Program, I am eager to have you train with us and excited to offer you a great program in your choice of location.

To Apply:

We accept applications utilizing the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The screening process begins as soon as the ERAS post office opens and applicants are scheduled to interview September through January. Osteopathic candidates only need to take the COMLEX exams. Scores on the COMLEX I, II, and the Clinical Skills Exam are required for ranking, however, completion of all three is not necessary for an invitation to interview.
