Paul Phillips

I was born in Maryland and raised in the coalfields of beautiful Southwest Virginia.  I worked for several years as a RN and paramedic before deciding to further my education by attending medical school.  I was accepted into the inaugural class at VCOM and completed my residency at ETSU Family Physicians of Bristol, where I served as chief resident and chief of chiefs for the College of Medicine.  Upon graduation, I accepted a position at a clinic in St. Paul, Virginia.  I also work as part-time faculty at Family Physicians of Bristol as resident and OMT clinic preceptor.  My goal is to provide service to rural and underserved areas as well as gaining experience in emergency medicine and urgent care.
